The current MLB lockout prohibits trades or free-agent signings involving any players on a team’s 40-man roster. It does not however stop coaches or managers from signing with new organizations. Former Dodgers minor league coach Danny-David Linahan announced his move to the Cleveland Guardians minor league staff.
In a Twitter post this past Friday, Linahan thanked the Dodgers players and staff for his time with the organization. Linahan will be working for the Guardians as a minor league hitting coach.
Linahan was a video associate development coach for the Tulsa Drillers.
