Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts spoke on what he called a ‘tough’ decision to send right-hander Ben Casparius down to Triple-A.
The 26-year-old reliever had an electric start to the season with a 2.72 ERA through May, but since the start of June, his ERA has totaled 6.31 in 27 outings.

“It was tough,” Roberts said of the demotion. “Ben has done a lot of nice things for us, he really has. And he’s still a big part of what we’re doing this year.
