Good things happen for practically any sports franchise when considerable investment takes place.
It was announced by the team’s official X account Sunday that the Los Angeles Dodgers broke the four million mark in attendance for the first time in franchise history. This historic number occurred in correspondence with Sunday being the final regular season home game of the year.
On average, nearly 50,000 fans attended each game — an absolutely monstrous number considering Dodger Stadium holds 56,000 (the largest ballpark in the Major Leagues). Chase Field in Phoenix is the second-largest in terms of capacity registering at 48,330.
