The Los Angeles Dodgers designated former All-Star reliever Alexis Diaz for assignment last week. It didn’t take long for him to find a new home.
On Sunday, the Atlanta Braves claimed Diaz off waivers, as the National League squad will now look to get Diaz back to his old form. As for the Dodgers, they officially lose Diaz after a failed experiment that resulted in just nine MLB games.

The Dodgers took a chance on Diaz in late May, acquiring him from the Cincinnati Reds for right-handed pitching prospect Mike Villani.
