Dodgers Lose Minor League Outfielder to Boston Red Sox

On Friday, Dodgers minor league outfielder Bradley Zimmer found a new home. Zimmer, who was sent down to the development league to make room for outfielders Andy Pages and Jonny DeLuca in Triple-A, was free to sign with a new team — and he did.

Zimmer signed a minor league deal with the Boston Red Sox, a team starting to turn into the East Coast Dodgers with Justin Turner, Kenley Jansen and Kiké Hernández. Chris Cotillo, the Red Sox beat writer for Mass Live, reported on the deal.

Zimmer was a non-roster invitee at spring training for the Dodgers this year.
