Dodgers Lose 3 Players in Rule 5 Draft

The Los Angeles Dodgers lost three minor leaguers in the Triple-A Phase of the Rule 5 Draft on Wednesday.

The Rule 5 Draft is an annual occurrence at the MLB Winter Meetings where teams can draft players left off of other teams’ 40-man rosters. The Triple-A phase is similar, but adds prospects who have spent at least four years in the minors and are not in Triple-A to Triple-A teams rather than their major league roster.
