Dodgers Lineup vs White Sox: Mookie Betts Surprisingly Out After Day Off, Hyeseong Kim Starting

The Los Angeles Dodgers, tied for the best record in baseball, are set to start a three-game series against the Chicago White Sox, owners of the second-worst record in MLB, at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday night.

In a surprising move, shortstop Mookie Betts is out of the lineup coming off a team off-day on Monday. Hyeseong Kim is getting the start at shortstop.

L.A. is facing rookie right-hander Shane Smith and his 3.38 ERA on the year. He has thrown 68 strikeouts to 32 walks across 74.2 innings of work this season, and is coming off back-to-back starts where he allowed five earned runs.
