The Los Angeles Dodgers will look to secure a series win over the Toronto Blue Jays Saturday night.
Left-hander Blake Snell will take the mound for the Dodgers in just his second start back from the injured list. The southpaw looked solid last week in his return from the IL, allowing three earned runs on five hits with eight strikeouts across five innings.
Opposite Snell is Blue Jays right-handed pitcher Chris Bassitt, who is sporting a 4.12 ERA this season with 126 punchouts across 129 innings pitched.
Will Smith is not in the Dodgers starting lineup for Saturday’s game as Dalton Rushing will be behind the plate for the second game of the series against Toronto.
