Dodgers Lineup for NLDS Game 1 vs Phillies: Max Muncy Out, Will Smith Still Sidelined

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies kick off Game 1 of the National League Division Series on Saturday, Oct. 4 at Citizens Bank Park.

Two-way player Shohei Ohtani is both leading off and taking the mound for the Dodgers in Game 1. Ohtani will be making his postseason debut as a pitcher after a dominant regular season in which he accrued a 2.87 ERA with 62 strikeouts across 47 innings pitched.

In September, Ohtani made three starts, allowing zero earned runs across 14.2 innings with 18 strikeouts. He faced the Phillies in his second-to-last start of the regular season, pitching five no-hit innings.
