The Los Angeles Dodgers have had a clear lack of depth this season, and got eerily close to losing one of their key utility stars for the remainder of it.
Kiké Hernández is more than just a fan favorite personality in the dugout as he can play every position on the field that isn’t catcher. Although his bat wasn’t quite up to par this season, the value he brings on defense to allow flexibility amid the many injuries and his ability to step things up in October are invaluable to the organization.
Luckily, the utility man was activated from the injured list on Monday and is available to provide his services once again.
