Dodgers: Julio Urias accepts 20 game suspension for DV incident

News came from out of left field on Saturday that Julio Urias has accepted a twenty game suspension for an incident that occurred earlier this season. While the suspension is twenty games, he will serve 15 games on the restricted list since he already served five games when he was on administrative leave.

Julio was placed on administrative leave back in early May after being arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence. While he was on the restricted list for seven days, five of those games he missed count towards his current suspension.

While the most important thing out of this is that Julio Urias learns from this incident, it’s worth noting that Urias is still eligible for the postseason.
