The Los Angeles Dodgers have a couple unfortunate injury updates ahead of their final regular season series.
Major trade deadline acquisition Brock Stewart is undergoing shoulder surgery and will officially be out for the remainder of the year.
Additionally, Max Muncy is dealing with an unspecified lower half injury that has kept him out of the lineup. Manager Dave Roberts said he’s not yet concerned about Muncy’s availability for Tuesday’s Wild Card opener.
Additionally, Tommy Edman remains out as he continues to nurse his ankle injury, but Roberts is hopeful he returns before the end of the regular season.
