Dodgers Injury News: Corey Seager To Play Shortstop For First Time On Monday

Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager has yet to play the field this spring as he continues to work through a throwing program to make sure his elbow is 100 percent healthy.

The elbow injury hindered Seager for the entire second half of last season, but he opted for rehab and the throwing program in the offseason as opposed to surgery.

When Seager reported to Camelback Ranch for Spring Training he had yet to throw a ball past 90 feet and hadn’t thrown to bases either. Meaning, there were boxes to check off before he could be inserted at shortstop in a game.
