The Dodgers did not participate in this year’s World Series but they had their name brought up in a juicy trade rumor during the World Series. The rumor stated that the Dodgers were going to pursue a trade for Indians’ shortstop Francisco Lindor. Both Lindor and Seager are set to become free agents after the 2021 season. Francisco is projected to make almost 17 million dollars in arbitration while Corey is projected to make just over seven million dollars.
Dodger fans have become open to the idea of moving on from Corey Seager due to his poor postseason performance this year.
