Ever since the Los Angeles Dodgers acquired Alex Call from the Washington Nationals at the trade deadline in exchange for a pair of pitching prospects, the 30-year-old outfielder had been struggling at the plate.
After starting the 2025 season with a .274 batting average trough 72 games on the Nationals, Call was batting .174 with six strikeouts in his first 13 contests wearing Dodger blue. On Tuesday night, however, Call seemed to find his swing once again, going 4-for-5 with a home run and a pair of RBIs.
The outfielder revealed that he received some guidance from the Dodgers hitting coaches, which led to his recent success at the plate.
