The Dodgers have a few coaching vacancies to fill and one of the biggest is their third base coach and infield instructor role that was created when Chris Woodward became the manager of the Texas Rangers. Woodward has been a pivotal part of the Dodgers’ coaching staff and helped Justin Turner and Corey Seager develop into top-tier defenders at their position.
Woodward had also helped Manny Machado shine defensively during his time with the Dodgers. The new third base coach is expected to be Dino Ebel who has spent the last fourteen seasons with the Angels and Mike Scioscia.
