Dodgers have chance to steal longtime valued coach's son in 2025 MLB Draft

Dino Ebel has been the Dodgers' third base coach since the 2019 season, but his history with the organization goes back even further. He signed with the Dodgers as an undrafted free agent in 1988, was a player-coach by 1991, and became the manager of LA's then-High-A affiliate the San Bernardino Spirit before jumping around managing in the lower levels of the organization.

He spent 17 years with the Dodgers before moving on to the Angels, where he served as a bench coach and third base coach until the Dodgers brought him back as their third base coach in November of 2018.
