Big thanks to the San Diego Padres, who couldn’t win a game if the existence of their franchise depended on it. The Los Angeles Dodgers thought they’d be gaining a game on the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night, but nope! The Pads blew a 4-1 lead and lost 6-5. Unreal.
As for LA, the defending champs edged out the Colorado Rockies in extras thanks to an Albert Pujols RBI single in the 10th. Let’s go!
Still, though, the Dodgers are one game behind the Giants in the NL West and will need help from the Padres, Rockies and Diamondbacks over the next two-ish weeks.
