Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman spent time on the injured list early in the season because of a right ankle injury, the same one that plagued him at the end of the 2024 season and required surgery last winter.

Freeman had a “mishap” in the shower, which caused the first baseman to tweak his ankle that wasn’t 100 percent to begin with.
Though Freeman returned from the 10-day injured list and essentially picked up right where he left off, the 35-year-old’s ankle still requires daily treatment almost two months into the season.
