Dodgers Fans React to Tony Gonsolin’s Rough Outing in Friday’s Game

Tony Gonsolin’s start on Friday may end up being his last for a little white. Or maybe a long while.

On Friday night against the Miami Marlins, Gonsolin had one job: Go deep into the game and save the bullpen as the Dodgers will be playing a doubleheader tomorrow due to Hurricane Hilary — and the first game of the doubleheader is going to be a bullpen game.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t do his job.

Gonsolin lasted just 3-and-a-third innings, and allowed 10 earned runs in the process, including five home runs. It was not only the worst start of his career, but it could also be the last one he makes for the rest of this season — or at least the foreseeable future.
