A failed offseason restoration project for the Dodgers got his opportunity to prove to the team that they made a mistake when they traded him early this year. Unfortunately, Noah Syndergaard showed what fans are used to when he took the mound for the Guardians Tuesday night.
In 12 starts with the Dodgers this season, Syndergaard was not good. He is at the top of the list of worst seasons by a Dodgers pitcher in franchise history. He had a 7.16 ERA and gave up a home run a game.
For his revenge game, Syndergaard was unable to prove that the Dodgers were missing out on him not being in Los Angeles.
