The Los Angeles Dodgers are among the teams “engaged” with the Minnesota Twins regarding relievers Jhoan Duran, Louis Varland and Griffin Jax, per MLB Network’s Jon Morosi.
The Dodgers have been linked to the Twins for the last month, as Minnesota has a surplus of relievers expected to be moved ahead of Thursday’s deadline.
On Tuesday, USA Today’s MLB insider Bob Nightengale joined Dodgers Nation’s Doug McKain on Dodgers Dougout Live, and said he expects the Dodgers to pursue a major trade with the Twins.
“Yeah if they’re gonna swing big, you want one of the two guys from Minnesota,” Nightengale said to McKain in regards to Duran or Jax.
