The Los Angeles Dodgers are entering the All-Star Break at 58-39, while World Series MVP Freddie Freeman is hitting just .202 in his last 30 games.
The veteran first baseman had just seven RBIs heading into the first half finale of the 2025 campaign, but finished with a much-needed pair of RBIs in a 5-2 victory Sunday, including a clutch RBI single in the top of the 11th to break the tie against division rival San Francisco Giants.
The bright spot, unfortunately, doesn’t take much away from the fact that Freeman’s bat has been ice cold since June as he looks to make some major changes for the home stretch of the season.
