Another domino fell for the Los Angeles Dodgers starting rotation when right-handed pitcher Tony Gonsolin was placed on the injured list with right elbow discomfort.

Any elbow injury for a pitcher is concerning, but it is certainly more alarming since Gonsolin is coming back from Tommy John surgery.
“It is,” manager Dave Roberts admitted Saturday. “That’s why I think we wanted to make sure we were cautious and take him offline. I don’t want to get too far ahead of it until we get the scans.
