Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts provided an update on Max Muncy after he left Wednesday’s game with a scary knee injury.
The Dodgers said Muncy left the game with “left knee pain,” but Roberts had a more substantial update after the game.
Roberts said the initial tests have come back promising, leading the team to be optimistic he didn’t suffer a serious injury.
“A lot of the tests that they did right now, we feel optimistic,” Roberts said. “And I think that our hope is that it’s a sprain. So obviously, for the next few days, I’m sure he’ll probably be down, but the MRI (Thursday) will show more.
