Los Angeles Dodgers superstar first baseman Freddie Freeman left Sunday’s loss to the Milwaukee Brewers early after being hit by an 88 mph sinker from southpaw Jose Quintana.
Freeman didn’t appear to be in pain after being hit. Instead, he walked straight into the dugout and down to the clubhouse. The Dodgers announced that Freeman was diagnosed with a left wrist contusion.
Manager Dave Roberts spoke on Freeman and provided an update after the game.
The skipper said that X-rays were negative and said Freeman will be “day to day.”
