Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said he can see starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw pitching later in the postseason despite his exclusion from the Wild Card series roster.
Kershaw made the final regular season start of his career on Sunday against the Seattle Mariners, and with the Wild Card series being held from Sept. 29-Oct. 2, he wouldn’t get enough rest to feature in a game. The southpaw threw 5.1 innings against the M’s, striking out seven batters while holding the AL West’s winners scoreless.
“I can see him starting a game. I can see him coming in for a short burst.
