It’s a lot easier t look at the moves made under a microscope when a team is going through a long streak. That’s certainly been the case with the Dodgers and Dave Roberts. It seems like every move that he has made over the last few weeks has been ridiculed.
And to be fair, a lot of the times that ridicule isn’t deserved. There’s only so much a manager can do when players aren’t performing to their full potential. But what the Dodgers are doing with Matt Beaty just seems wrong.
Beaty came off of a really impressive game on Sunday that highlights a streak of success since his return from the alternate site.
