The Los Angeles Dodgers were rumored to make one of the bigger splashes in this past trade deadline, but as the dust settled, the result was less of a splash and more of a surgical approach.
LA needed outfielder depth and bullpen help ahead of Thursday, and both of those were certainly achieved. After watching many contenders push all their chips to the middle of the table, the Dodgers stood firm in the belief that their current core has what it takes to get through October.
