Los Angeles Dodgers star Clayton Kershaw and his wife Ellen welcomed their fifth child, Chloe Peach Kershaw, on Tuesday.
Kershaw, now retired, spoke about his daughter’s arrival earlier in the offseason, and said being with his kids is his first priority for the time being.
“I think first and foremost is for me to have this fifth kid and be a dad for awhile,” he said when talking about a position with the Dodgers in the future. “I don’t think there’s any full-time jobs in my immediate future.”
Kershaw spent 18 seasons with the Dodgers, winning three Cy Youngs, three World Series, an MVP and a Gold Glove to go with his 11 All-Star selections.
