The three-time Cy Young award winner is a dozen punchouts away from becoming the 20th member of a historic club, but he provided some comedy when recently discussing the rarity of where he is close to joining.

“Maybe by September I’ll get there, we’ll see,” Kershaw joked. “It’s obviously a very cool thing and it’s starting to get a little more on the forefront of the mind, but who knows how long 12 could take me at this point?
