Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw praised fellow starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto following his appearance in Game 7 of the World Series after throwing six innings in Game 6 the day prior.
Yamamoto closed the game for the Dodgers, pitching 2.2 innings without allowing a run. The right-hander made three appearances in the World Series, allowing just two runs through 17.2 innings on his way to his first World Series MVP award.
