Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto threw a gem in Game 2 of the World Series, grabbing the attention of the entire baseball world.
Yamamoto threw his second consecutive complete game this postseason on Sunday, marking the first time a pitcher had done so since Curt Schilling in 2001. Dodgers veteran Clayton Kershaw was quick to shower Yamamoto with praise following his stunning outing.
“The way Yosh is throwing right now and the way we’re built right now, he could throw 150 pitches if he wants,” Kershaw said.
“…I just think the way he throws the baseball is like perfect.
