The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled right-handed relief pitcher Matt Sauer from Triple-A Oklahoma City ahead of Tuesday’s game against the San Diego Padres.

Sauer was already in San Diego with the Dodgers before the organization officially added him to the roster. The 2017 second round draft pick is expected to pitch Tuesday against the Padres.
In a corresponding move, the Dodgers designated right-handed relief pitcher José Ureña for assignment. Los Angeles signed the 11-season MLB veteran as a free agent from the Toronto Blue Jays on June 3.
