The Los Angeles Dodgers are placing rookie catcher Dalton Rushing on the injured list and have called up catcher Chuckie Robinson from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
LA is desperate for reinforcements as Will Smith and Rushing have sustained injuries this week.
Robinson has not made a Major League appearance in 2025, but could very well feature for the Dodgers with the team’s primary catchers currently sidelined. Robinson has played for the Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds, making his MLB debut with the organization in 2022.
The catcher is a career .132 hitter with a .364 OPS across 129 at-bats in the big leagues.
