Dodgers bullpen blows lead, Rockies win 7-6 with ninth inning walk-off

DENVER >> Sometimes it feels like the Dodgers change cities to get away from their problems. They left St. Louis to escape the rain and a park in which they couldn’t score. One out of two ain’t bad.

They will fly home from Denver to escape the rain and memories of the ninth inning, which began late Wednesday and ended early Thursday local time. The game was delayed twice by rain and even hail at times — 2 hours, 10 minutes at the outset and another 16 minutes in the middle of the second inning.

By then, few among the announced crowd of 24,575 remained to watch the series reach its conclusion.
