The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher Edgardo Henriquez and designated right-handed pitcher Lou Trivino for assignment.

It was reported earlier that Henriquez had a locker in the Dodgers clubhouse, which indicated a roster move would be coming soon.

Henriquez produced a 2.70 ERA with five strikeouts and one save across 3.1 innings last season. The right-hander made his Major League debut with the Dodgers last September against the San Diego Padres.

With Triple-A Oklahoma City this season, Henriquez has a 5.89 ERA with 26 strikeouts across 18.1 innings pitched.
