This time it might actually be true, though. This is something like Julio Urias‘ third start in a row of being his last start before moving to the bullpen. However, Clayton Kershaw is back. Hyun-Jin Ryu returns on Saturday. Rich Hill struck out eight batters in a four inning rehab start yesterday (though will need one more start before returning). Moving Urías to the bullpen seems like a more real possibility than it has thus far.
The uncertainty probably isn’t an easy thing to deal with, and it might partially explain why Urías is in a mini-slump, having allowed eight earned runs across his last two starts.
