The 2019 Dodgers set an LA Dodger record by recording their 105th win on Saturday edging out the 2017 Dodgers by one win. They also tied the 1953 Brooklyn Dodgers who also won 105 games although the had a shorter season and went 105-49. That Brooklyn club featured many Dodger legends including Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, and Pee Wee Reese, among others.
If the Dodgers win today they will set a new team record for most wins in a season. The 2017 Dodgers were a great team in their own right and it sure felt like that team would finally end LA’s World Series drought.
