Dodgers’ Blake Snell Admits He Shouldn’t Have Pitched to Start Season Due to Injury

The Los Angeles Dodgers signed several stars in the offseason, but headlined the winter by inking a five-year, $182 million deal with left-handed pitcher Blake Snell.

From the moment Snell’s signing was announced, it was evident the two-time Cy Young winner was ecstatic to join the Dodgers. The 32-year-old was one of the first pitchers to arrive at Camelback Ranch.

Unfortunately, Snell’s excitement may have contributed to his early season injury.

“I probably should have stopped throwing before Opening Day but I just wanted to pitch so bad,” Snell recently told AM 570 Sports.
