Ben Casparius entered 2025 with more postseason appearances than regular-season outings. Not to mention, starting Game 4 of the World Series amid an ailing pitching roster that had limped to the Fall Classic.
Now at 26 years old, the right-hander is establishing himself as a member of the starting rotation after posting a 2.86 ERA across 44 innings this season, mostly in relief.
Casparius has 46 strikeouts to just nine walks on the year and recently spoke on a punch out that caught the eye of San Diego Padres superstar Manny Machado, in just the young pitcher’s second start of the year.
