Dodgers Beat Phillies in NLDS Game 1 Behind Teoscar, Kiké Hernandez, Take 1-0 Lead

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 5-3, in Game 1 of the National League Division Series. The Dodgers now have a 1-0 lead in the NLDS.

Things got a little chippy for starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani in the second inning after a J.T. Realmuto triple brought in two runs, and a Harrison Bader sacrifice fly would later bring him home.

After All-Star backstop Will Smith came in to pinch hit in the top of the fifth — his first at-bat in close to a month — he would stay in the game to catch, relieving Ben Rortvedt.
