Dodgers announce minor-league managers for 2016

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers announced their six minor-league managers for the 2016 season on Monday.

Bill Haselman will be promoted from High-A to Triple-A Oklahoma City and Ryan Garko will manage Double-A Tulsa. Drew Saylor will take over High-A Rancho Cucamonga, Gil Velazquez will manage Low-A Great Lakes, and Shaun Larkin and John Shoemaker will manage the Rookie-level teams in Ogden and Arizona, respectively.

Haselman, Velazquez and Shoemaker spent last season in the Dodgers' organization; Garko, Saylor and Larkin are imports. Garko, a graduate of Anaheim Servite, had been an assistant coach at Stanford. Saylor was a hitting coach for the Rockies' High-A affiliate last season and Larkin a manager in the Indians organization.
