With the Dodgers having until Friday afternoon at 5 p.m. to reach a deal with arbitration-eligible players, they were able to agree to a deal with Tony Cingrani.
The deal is for one year, and is worth $2.65 million, fully guaranteed. According to Ken Rosenthal, most arbitration deals are not guaranteed, so this does come as a bit of a surprise.
Cingrani was acquired at the trade deadline back in 2017 from the Reds. He was solid for LA after they picked him up, posting an ERA of 2.
