Dodgers Among Teams Expected to Pursue All-Star Utility Man in Trade With Cardinals

The Los Angeles Dodgers are in for a busy offseason, and could kick off doing business with the St. Louis Cardinals for utility man Brendan Donovan.

The Dodgers had several utility players in their squad for their World Series win, such as Tommy Edman, Hyeseong Kim, Miguel Rojas and Kiké Hernandez, however with Rojas and Hernandez currently free agents, they could look for a younger improvement on both players.

Donovan made his first All-Star team in 2025, posting a .775 OPS throughout the season while batting .287. He hit 10 home runs and drove in 50 RBIs last season, marking the second season he had done so in a row.
