Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Bobby Miller has experienced, as much as anyone, the ups and downs of being an MLB pitcher.
After an electric rookie season with LA in 2023 that ended with being trusted to start an NLDS game at just 24 years old, Miller hasn’t quite recaptured the same success. After an inflated ERA in 2024, along with shoulder complications that season slowed him down, 2025 looked to be an excellent opportunity for a comeback season.
Unfortunately, Miller’s season started off in unnerving fashion, as he was struck in the head by a 106 mph line drive on just the 12th pitch of spring training.
