Dodgers’ Alex Vesia Made Dave Roberts Keep Him In to Finish Sweep of Padres

The Los Angeles Dodgers swept the San Diego Padres this past weekend to regain control of the NL West in dominant fashion. After relief pitcher Alex Vesia entered a tie game with one out in the eighth inning, manager Dave Roberts appeared to be ready to take him out after collecting two outs.
