LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers on Monday activated Sergio Romo from the disabled list before their four-game series against the Mets, and optioned fellow reliever Josh Fields to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Fields has been one of the stalwarts in the Dodgers bullpen all season, posting a 3.00 ERA in 27 games, with 32 strikeouts and eight walks in 27 innings. But June has been a rough month for Fields, who has allowed home runs in four of his last five outings.
