Dodgers Activate Rich Hill, Option Grant Dayton to Oklahoma City

Not long after we began a little discussion involving a few of the bullpen’s high-risk pieces, the Dodgers on Tuesday reinstated left-handed pitcher Rich Hill from the 10-day disabled list and optioned lefty reliever Grant Dayton to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Hill, who was placed on the disabled list on April 17 with a blister on his left middle finger, will make his third start of the season for the Dodgers on Tuesday evening. He last pitched on April 16 against the Diamondbacks, allowing two runs on five hits in an even three innings and struck out two as he recorded the loss in the Dodgers’ 3-1 defeat.
