Dodgers Acquire Adam McCreery From Braves For Cash Considerations, Pat Venditte Designated For Assignment

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced that they have acquired left-handed pitcher Adam McCreery from the Atlanta Braves in exchange for cash considerations. As a corresponding move to get him on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers designated reliever Pat Venditte for assignment.

McCreery was a 22nd round draft pick of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 2014 out of Azuza Pacific University. The La Verne, Calif. native was traded to the Braves in 2016 in exchange for Jhoulys Chacin.

The 25-year-old made his Major League debut this past August against the Washington Nationals, allowing four hits and two runs in an innings of work while striking out two.
